Yap Voice Typing is a free browser extension that lets you type with your voice in any text box on the web. Click into a field, press Alt+Shift+Y (or click the Yap icon) and talk; your words appear where the cursor is. OpenAI Whisper runs inside the browser, so your voice is never uploaded: no server, no account, no analytics. Works in English and 98 other languages, adds punctuation, removes filler words, and keeps working offline after a one-time 80 MB model download. Available on the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons.
