Diff Anything 1.4 compares file and folder content locally on macOS and Windows. It handles ZIP/ZIP64/ZIPX, 7z, RAR, TAR and compressed streams—including encrypted and multipart archives—with streamed hashes, extraction controls, cancellation, and expansion limits. It also compares spreadsheets across CSV, Excel, OpenDocument and Apple Numbers formats; searchable folder trees; text and structured data; PDFs; images; Office and RTF documents; OpenAPI and JSON Schema; HTTP responses; and binary metadata. Pro adds saved profiles, reports, three-way merge, folder synchronization, batch runs, preprocessors, and every CLI mode. Files stay on the computer; there are no accounts, analytics, or telemetry.
